Wifi is often associated with personal use, this is the reason the installation and usage fees are comparatively inexpensive. 4G, on the other hand, is much more expensive mainly used to enhance the data transfer speed and performance of the internet by telecom service providers. Although Wifi does offer high frequency, 4G boasts frequency twice as high as of Wifi.

What is Wifi?:  Wifi stands for Wireless internet service that provides a short range of connectivity. This type of wireless service is commonly used in homes and small offices. WiFi technology operates in an unallocated frequency band at 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz. WiFi uses a wireless router connected to the Internet modem, with an  RP-TNC extension cable connected to an antenna. With an antenna mount such as a Tile roof antenna mount, you can mount the antenna very high for better reception and distance.

What is 4G?:  4G as the name refers, is the Fourth Generation Network that aims at delivering a very high rate of communication. The data transfer speed offered in 4G connectivity is up to 100 Mbits. This development has really revolutionized the concept of wireless internet and works in a similar manner as connecting a traditional LAN to a mobile device. With 4G connectivity, every IP communication has access to smartphones, laptops, tablets and other handy devices primarily used to make voice, text calls or browse the web.
